About Us

Miss Julie’s Childcare and Preschool was established in 2004, Julie Swiderski is the owner and has been

in the childcare field for over 20 years. She wanted a loving, safe place for children to learn and thrive so she started small. The daycare center has grown over the years from where it began as a home daycare and transitioned into a larger center.

"We are still a small close-knit center but now we are located in the heart of Lake City across from Elk Valley Elementary

School making it more convenient for parents and their children". With the smaller center feel and a 45-max capacity, there is a family like environment. This allows for positive relationships to be

established between staff and families, and promote open communication to ensure outstanding care.
