Curriculum
The Creative Curriculum® for Preschool, Guided Edition
is a comprehensive, research-based curriculum that features hands-on, project-based
investigations as a pathway to learning. It includes the most up-to-date early childhood
development research and offers the embedded support and guidance to effectively bring a
content-rich, developmentally appropriate curriculum to life.
Toddler Classroom
Our toddler room is ages 1-2. In this classroom the children are learning the basics, such as a lot of
language skills, and hands-on play. The creative curriculum for young toddlers is used daily and aligns
with the PA early learning standards.
Pre-K Classroom
Our pre-k class is for ages 4–5-year-olds and puts a focus on kindergarten readiness. Our classroom is
aligned with the PA early learning standards, and we follow the creative curriculum. Basic school
readiness skills are taught in this classroom, and used throughout the school year.
Pre-K to 3 Classroom
The age range for this classroom is 2 ½ to 3 years old. In this classroom the children start to begin to
learn classroom routine, and preschool skills to exhibit once the children move to the pre-k classroom.
With an emphasis on sharing and building friendships. The creative curriculum for young toddlers is
aligned with PA early learning standards and used in this classroom.
